Steven

After more than 15 years in the event industry—working as a technical designer, production manager, and everything in between—I founded Steven Michael Designs to fully pursue what I love most: designing and building impactful event experiences.

From custom fabrication and immersive builds to a curated collection of designer-inspired rentals, my goal is simple—help clients bring bold ideas to life. Whether it’s a custom tabletop piece or a large-scale installation, every project is approached with creativity, intention, and attention to detail.

Frequently Asked Questions

    1. Contact us! We will need to know what you would like built. Not exactly sure? We can help with that.

    2. Once we have an understanding of what you would like, we will design a 3D rendering with material selection and budget for your approval.

    3. Once approval has been given, a 50% deposit will reserve your order and the build process will begin. This deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within two weeks of event. The final balance is due on the day of the event.

    4. We deliver and set up all fabrications on specified date of event and at requested time.

    5. Your amazing event takes place.

    6. We come pick up fabrications from the event space based on venue's requirements.

    1. Contact us! We will need to know the date of the event, the venue, and what rentals you would like.

    2. We will work with you to create an order that is customized to your needs.

    3. You will sign a rental agreement, and a 50% deposit reserves your order. This deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within two weeks of event. The final balance is due on the day of the event.

    4. We deliver and set up all rentals on specified date of event and at requested time.

    5. Your amazing event takes place.

    6. We come pick up rentals from the event space based on venue's requirements.

  • You are welcome to come see any rentals in-person. Please make an appointment with us prior.

  • Deliveries are made during normal business hours. Any deliveries or pickups that are outside of normal business hours may incur an additional fee. Once delivery is confirmed, we will let you know how long set-up is estimated to take.

  • It is best if someone is on-site. However, no one is required to be on-site if we have access to the space and a layout that shows where items should be placed.
